Where every frame tells a story of connection -

with the Earth and with each other

I want to show you what the world sees when it looks at you: the same wonder I find in the tide, the trees, and the open sky. Every image is a little thank-you to the Earth and the people who move through it with feeling

Only photography has been able to divide human life into a series of moments, each of them has the value of a complete existence.

— Eadweard Muybridge

A little about me

01.

I’m Abbey

I was born and raised in Illinois, surrounded by corn and trees, but longing for the sea. Now the Indian River Lagoon has become my backyard estuary, and I've fallen in love with this small beach town and its close community. I am a tree-hugger at heart and will use any excuse to get outside!

Relationship with nature

Nature has always been my sanctuary, a place where my spirit feels free and alive. Now, as an environmental specialist, I see nature not just as a backdrop, but as a living story worth telling... and protecting.

Photography

Photography is my way of preserving the magic of nature, helping others see the beauty worth saving, and connecting with new people and places. I took film photography classes more than a decade ago and have not stepped away from the camera since!
